NEW BRIDGE & VIADUCT, CONISBRO’.

A postcard with a sad poem. This pit cost many lives over the years but this single tragedy cost 35 men and then a 2nd explosion cost another 53 men  who where trying to rescue men and boys from the 1st explosion.. Published by J. PETERS, Denaby

CONISBORO CHURCH

King George V at the Castle, if im correct this must have been on the 8th of July 1912 - because on the 9th the Cadeby pit disaster struck and the King again returned from Barnsley to Conisborough to share the grief where 88 men and boys lost there lives in the two explosions. No publishers details.
